Server lag

is there a way to make it so the server restarts about every 2 hours to make it lag less, atm its quite bad

Any lag you have is due to either your connection, or your computer hardware. The server can handle 24 players, since there are ~10 players online, RAM and CPU usage is no where near 100% . Do you usually experience lag? If so are you from USA? Unless the server lags only when I am asleep, it is not a server-side problem.

I don't experience any lag, so as Piixel said its most probably from you.

i have a really nice laptop and i usually never get lag, so im guessing its a server problem, and yes piix it is when your offline

Trust me, it's not a server problem. Where do you live? I'm guessing USA, if so the lag is due to high ping, ping is determined by response time. The further data has to travel the higher the ping will be, your location is the problem, not a server problem, read Redlevel32's post.

I never lag at all, I'm from Canada and I have tested a few servers and French hosted servers are usually the best in my case. Though I would not see hoe that would effect it.

Surprisingly enough, My igloo actually gets pretty good reception from my internet provider, Too bad it's so damn cold...            Ah I'll just throw on a few cunucks jerseys and some beaver pelts. Not a problem.
