Where are the animals?

hey guys,
I have been looking for some animals and I have found very few. I have only seen 2 pigs, No cows, and a couple of chickens. I need their meat to run my bakery and i need milk from the cow for cake. Im new so I may have missed something in the past, but where are the animals? haha, sounds silly, but i need their food.
