I know that a lot of people play for survival, but this isn't a choice between the two, either this or nothing. If we got a decent following after releasing some good adventure maps, we could re-open as a SMP server. This would be a creative, white-listed server. If anyone has any other ideas please let me know. I'd rather try and fail, than not try at all. We have some good builders here with great potential.

After the new guests today I had the sudden realization that most of the minecraft community are complete morons.

Wait, wait, Ten pointed out the obvious to me. With multiverse I could have a creative world that is used to create these maps, while also having an SMP server. This world would only be accessible by a chosen few.

Adventure Maps, fun to make, enjoyed by everyone, shared by the hundreds.
We are a good community of creative minds, I am sure that we would be able to not only create amazing maps, but also amazing story lines.

I say that at some point, we give it a shot. What is there to lose? It'll be fun.

Or If every so often we could install one of vechs maps and play them.

Its a smart choice, I belive that this could be a great step forward in having more people on the server 24/7. we could have a puzzle map, adventure, challenge, and anyother kind of map put into one!

Personally I'd rather build the maps. That way we would have a legacy to leave, and anything we build would have a purpose, and a way to get people interested in the server, make us stand out from the crowd.

That would be awesome. I have been looking for a server that does adventure maps. Great idea, but I probably wont be one of the selected few. Otherwise, this would be very enjoyable.

Yes you would. Most of the people who use the forum can, they are the dedicated few.

This would be a great step ahead for Nethermind. It would draw a lot more attention too. The Indigo Chambers were great. More things like that would be awesome. Then the server could turn into a full 24/7 server (Well it is already but more popular the later hours). This is a great idea and I hope we go forward with this idea. I would love to help.

This is a great idea. I would love to be part of the "selected few" - I don't spend that much time on the server - but still, I think it would herald a leap foward for the NetherMind community.
