I was thinking the build should take no longer than 3-5 hours. We do have quite a few people interested so with everyone working together we should be able to accomplish a lot.

It looks like the Floating Island is the top choice. So we will be building that.

Piix thank you for recording, provided everyone who says they are going to show up, does in fact show up. I think it would be fine for you to sit out and record.

As for the Skype/Teamspeak thing... It looks like we have around 8 people wanting to do this. Skype has some negatives such as... It is more taxing on your computer to run along side Minecraft than TS is. Also Skype is notorious for bad connections and random call dropping. But then again it is a far easier option than TS is. So what ever you guys decide on I'm fine with... I've got an account for both so I don't care. (Secretly prefer TS) 
TS, Vent, and Mumble are all far superior to Skype, but I highly doubt there will be more than 5 people in the chat at one time, so the difference between using Skype and TS will be minimal. Far more people are familiar with Skype, and are probably more likely to use it. I hate Skype, but for a small team of builders it should be fine.
