Can I get a number of people who want to join the TeamSpeak server?
I'll either host it myself or rent one for a month.
A 10-slot server is ?1.80 for a month but if necessary I can go for a 20-slot.
Let me know roughly how many slots we need and I'll sort that out. Unless somebody else can host it. My connection is not great, I can probably deal with about 6 people.

Not sure if everyone will be able to/want to but I'd suggest we have a giant skype call or we grab a free vent/teamspeak server for the weekend. Just to make it easier, don't have to stop to type so much.

Experience: Admin on 2 servers, owner of 2 other servers. I have spent the majority of my Minecraft experience in SMP. My experiences as Admin and Owner have taught me a lot about the different plugins servers use as well as giving me an unlimited amount of respect for anyone who takes on the job of server Owner or Admin.
Contributions: My knowledge of plugins, moderation and server configuration enables me to offer sound, trustworthy advice to the server owner (Hi Piixel). I am not a terribly skilled builder but I enjoy mining, resource gathering and interior decorating.

Well the server will be outdated for anyone who updates to 1.2, until bukkit updates. I plan to use this time to build a decent spawn-point.
If you want to help build the new spawn, you must stay in 1.1, or rollback to 1.1, any help building the new spawn will be much appreciated.
In relation to the above quote, below is a link to the DigiEx Minecraft Version Tool. You can use it to download and run ANY minecraft .jar. You can update to 1.2 to check out jungles for a while and then come back to 1.1 to help us build spawn, or to just keep playing.

There are ways to update that don't include resetting the entire map. Deleting unused chunks and regenerating them is one example. That can cause crazy biome generation and might cause some problems.
I don't know of Piixel's plans for the update, I just wanted to let you know that there are ways it can be done without resetting the entire map.

I've posted a few threads now that have formatting rules. When I posted the last one I realised that anyone who is new to forum use might not be so familiar with formatting.
That's why I've made this helpful image for you
